In 1900, three German brewers established Cervecera del Pacifico in the small Mexican port town of Mazatlan. Word of the exceptionally drinkable pilsner-style lager traveled fast. Soon, thirst for Pacifico spread from Sinaloa and up the rugged Baja coastline.
